In Social Studies, we shared the book, We're Different, We're the Same by Bobbi Jane Kates to begin to think about ways that people are alike and different. Then, the students worked with a partner to compare things that were similar and different among them. To conclude the lesson, we acknowledged how we have many things in common and we celebrated our differences realizing that they are what makes us special and unique!
