In Social Studies, we shared the book, We Are All Alike, We Are All Different by Cheltenham Elementary School Kindergartners to begin to think about ways that people are similar and different. Then, the students worked with a partner to compare things that are the same and different among them. To conclude the lesson, we read the book, We're Different, We're the Same by Bobbi Jane Kates and acknowledged how we have many things in common. We also celebrated our differences realizing that they are what makes us special and unique!
