In Phonics, the students received a baggie containing the letters of their name where they practiced studying their name by following the important steps we learned in class:
- Read it.
- Clap and stomp the beats.
- Count the letters.
- Study the letters.
- Cheer it.
Then, they practiced putting the letter tiles for their name in order beginning with a capital letter, followed by lowercase letters. Finally, they had lots of fun following the steps to teach their name to a partner.
