As part of the Positivity Project, the students had fun reflecting and writing about the purpose of various things in our classroom which in turn helped them begin to think about what their individual purposes are in life. After reading the book, I Am Enough by Grace Byers, the students then wrote a list of affirmations that make them special as they reflected on their purpose in their Positivity Project journal.

As part of our Phonics Vowel Power unit of study celebration, students enjoyed using their vowel power and super powers to make signs for Mabel's graduation. They were so proud to march to Pomp and Circumstance while showing their signs to Mabel! All of their hard work and efforts have shined through and they truly have so much to celebrate!
To help students prepare for the final i-Ready diagnostic, data chats were held and individual goals were set. A classroom bulletin board was also created to help students to stay focused on their individual goals.
