In math, students enjoyed using their character strength of creativity to make many of the two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) shapes that we learned about this year.

Positivity Project - Year in Review

As part of the final outro week of the Positivity Project, we reviewed the mindsets and character strengths that we learned this year.  Today, we focused on cheering other people on and using humility to allow others to have the spotlight.  This was achieved by allowing each person to share something that they learned this year while we all cheered for their accomplishment!

As part of our final outro week of the Positivity Project, we reviewed the mindsets and character strengths that we learned about this year.  Today, we focused on supporting each other and using teamwork to get the job done.  For fun, we tried to make a plan for all of us to jump at the same time by discussing various strategies on how to accomplish this task.  It was discovered that communication is key to effective teamwork!

We Pledge To Do Our Best On The i-Ready Test

To help students prepare for the final i-Ready diagnostic, data chats were held and individual goals were set.  A classroom bulletin board was also created to help students to stay focused on their individual goals.

Blend Equations

In Phonics, students enjoyed creating blend equations and lists of words with the corresponding blends they created.
