To celebrate the upcoming holiday break, we had so much fun reading the book, The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. For a special surprise, the students all received a bell and a golden ticket just as the boy did in the story! We also watched The Polar Express movie together while enjoying a special treat of "cold" chocolate with a holiday treat! We then compared the similarities and differences between the book and the movie!
Thank you to our room parents, Mrs. Wilcox (Zola's mom), Mrs. Wilczynski (Ellie's mom), and Mrs. Kerr (Riley's mom) for planning such a wonderful Winter Party! We are also very appreciative for the help of Mrs. Gill (Jameson's mom) and Mrs. Moler (Brayden's mom) for volunteering to help during the party! From the delicious snacks, to the exciting snowball launcher craft, to the super fun bingo game, so much fun was had by everyone!!!
