A Hearfelt Thank You for the Very Kind Display of Love This Week

Words can truly not express the sincere gratitude I have for the very kind display of love this week!  It truly warmed my heart to see my kinderfriends dressed in the colors of my all time favorite, Mickey Mouse, on Monday!  My favorite snacks and sweets were a wonderful surprise on Tuesday and it was such a gift to spend the day with all of my little valentines in class that day!  The beautiful flowers sent in on Wednesday are truly breathtaking and the extra special school supplies brought in on Thursday are very much appreciated and will be put to good use!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the privilege of teaching your amazing children and for your continued partnership and support in their learning! ðŸ’•

The Gift of Reading Continues with Our 5th Grade Friends

Glengary 5th graders, Harper and Chelsea returned yet again to share more stories with us.  We all loved seeing the character strength of "Love" shining through in the book, Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun by Maria Dismondy.  Because of the kindergartners love and enjoyment of the book, Those Darn Squirrels! by Adam Rubin, the girls also read that story again!  Extending our sincere appreciation to Harper and Chelsea for their dedication to reading to us! 📘📕

Spreading "Love" to Members of Our Kindergarten Family

As part of our Positivity Project, we have been learning about the character strength of "Love" and valuing the close relationships we have with the people in our lives.  To spread love to our friends in our kindergarten family, we did a special cheer to celebrate that each person came to school today!

Happy Valentine's Day

All of the kinderfriends in Room 14 would like to wish you a very Happy Valentine's Day! 💘💟💘

Valentine's Day Party

Thank you to our room parents, Mrs. Cygan (Brennick's mom) and Ms. Nguyen (Ander's mom) for planning such a wonderful Winter Party!  We are also very appreciative for the help of Mrs. Dean (Sawyer's mom) and Mrs. Giacobbi (Aria's mom) for volunteering to help during the party!  From the festive snacks, to the beautiful flower bouquet craft, to the fun-filled bingo game, a wonderful time was had by everyone!  We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those who donated food and supplies for our party!

Graphing with Valentine Candy Hearts

To practice our graphing skills in math, students enjoyed sorting valentine candy hearts by color and representing their data on a vertical bar graph.
