We were so excited to welcome first grader, Blair, to our classroom when she was fulfilling the role of Principal for the Day, a reward that she won as part of the Fun Run raffle. Blair did a phenomenal job of reading the story, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willlems to us! We loved having her visit our classroom!

Positivity Project - Year in Review
As part of the final outro week of the Positivity Project, we reviewed the mindsets and character strengths that we learned this year. Today, we focused on supporting others when they struggle and cheering on the success of others. First, we thought of things we could say and do when other people are feeling sad to be the rainbow in their cloud. Then, we concluded by allowing each person to share something that they learned this year while we all cheered for their accomplishment!

Positivity Project - Year in Review
As part of our final outro week of the Positivity Project, we reviewed the mindsets and character strengths that we learned about this year. Today, we focused on supporting each other and using teamwork to get the job done. For fun, we tried to make a plan for all of us to jump at the same time by discussing various strategies on how to accomplish this task. It was discovered that communication is key to effective teamwork!
