To celebrate the upcoming holiday break, we were all smiles at our Polar Express Pajama Party! A ton of fun was had moving our trains down the track completing extra special challenges and being detoured on our journey to the North Pole! The students all looked adorable in their Polar Express conductor hats! They also enjoyed listening to the book, The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. As a special surprise, the students all received a bell and a golden ticket just as the boy did in the story! We also watched The Polar Express movie together while enjoying a special treat of "cold" chocolate with a holiday treat! We then compared the similarities and differences between the book and the movie!

The twins were able to fit in the Birthday Chair so we could honor them for their 6th birthday! Altough we won't be with you tomorrow, we are wishing you the very best on your special day! Happy Birthday, girls! 🎂🎈💕
As part of our weather unit in science, the students have been tracking and charting the weather each day! They have learned how to read a thermometer to tell the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit, how windspeed can be measured using a windsock, how to tell the difference between different types of weather, how weather relates to the seasons, and how to measure the amount of precipitation using a rain gauge! Way to go future meteorologists!

Thank you to our room parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rau (Remington's parents), Mrs. Gerken (Everly's mom), and Mrs. Szostak (Nathan's mom) for planning such a wonderful Winter Party! We are also very appreciative for those who donated items to help make our party so successful! From the festive snacks, to the exciting snowball relay race, to the adorable snowman craft, to the super fun pin the nose on Rudolph game, to Winter Bingo game, a wonderful time was had by everyone!!!
