- Listening to the book, The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams and sequenced the events of the story
- Sorting and coloring shapes after listening to the book, The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin by Joe Troiano
- Making Spookley the Square Pumpkins for our Halloween festivities
- Ordering numbers 1-5 after listening to and reenacting The Five Little Pumpkins poem
- Counting and coloring pumpkins
- Investigating pumpkins by estimating and checking how many cubes tall the pumpkin was, discovering if a string would go around the pumpkin, determining if the pumpkin floated, and figuring out how many ribs the pumpkin had
