On Monday, November 24th, the JK students from Pleasant Lake, Keith, and Glengary visited the Outdoor Education Center. During our visit, we explored the many animals on display in the fireplace room, took a hike where we searched for items in the forest that matched our color swatches, jumped in a huge leaf pile, discovered things in nature, tackled various obstacles, found leaves that were as big as our heads, explored items with our sense of touch, used our sense of smell to determine various scents, put our sense of taste to the test to taste maple syrup, rotated through nature centers, and explored a sensory bulletin board. Extending our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Outdoor Center for a fun-filled nature experience for our junior kindergarten friends!
