Positive Outlook in the New Year

To ring in the New Year, the students reflected on the character strengths they have learned thus far and wrote New Year's Resolutions by focusing on the character strength that they will try to use more often in the new year!  Their resolutions are currently on display in the hallway outside of our classroom for all to enjoy!

Building Hexagons

In math, the students had fun working with a partner to combine pattern blocks in different ways to discover how to make hexagons.  To conclude the lesson, we analyzed and discussed the various ways that groups created hexagons using various pattern block shapes.

Spirit Week - Day 5 - Pajama Day!

To help raise funds for the Caleb White Project and have some fun during the holiday season, Glengary hosted 5 Spirit Days for the final 5 days of school leading up to the holiday break where students paid $1 for each day they participated.  For Pajama Day, the students were invited to wear their pajamas to school.  What a fun and comfy, cozy day we had together!
