Sight Word Fireworks
As part of our Scholastic Weekly Reader New Year edition, the students enjoyed practicing identifying sight words by playing the "Sight Word Fireworks" game.
Top-It on connectEd
For additional practice, students enjoyed playing Top-It on the connectEd website by comparing the value of two numbers to determine the larger number.

Creating a Personal Timeline
In social studies, students began learning about the past, present, and future. To help them to better understand these concepts, they created a personal timeline of their history including when they were a baby, when they were little, and now that they are in kindergarten.

Building Numbers
In math, the students used connecting cubes to compose and decompose a given number in multiple ways. Then, they compared their findings with partners with the same number.
