During our shared reading time, so much fun was had reenacting the story of The Gingerbread Man. Using their gingerbread man cookies, the students enjoyed pretending to be the fox as the gingerbread man climbed onto their backs, on top of their heads, out onto their noses, and finally into their mouths. At the conclusion of the story, we had so much fun creating a class bar graph of the part of the gingerbread man that they ate first. Then, we analyzed the results of the data on our graph.
To help raise funds for the Glengary Giving Tree and have some fun during the holiday season, Glengary hosted 5 Spirit Days the first week of December where students paid $1 for each day they participated. For Snowman Day, students were encouraged to wear white and a favorite scarf and hat. Be sure to check out the cutest little snowmen in town! ⛄😍
