In math, the students had a blast playing "Gotcha" where various numbers of objects were counted aloud by Mrs. Steele and the students had to listen and observe to see if she was counting correctly. If they observed a counting error, they yelled, "Gotcha," and had to explain the mistake that was made. Then, they continued to practice their counting skills by practicing counting different sets of fingers with a partner in class.
