While learning about the significance of Earth Day, the students enjoyed practicing their math and fine motor skills with an Earth Day theme. The stations included tracing numerals and number words and representing their values in ten frames, matching sets to numbers, and building fine motor skills by creating Earth Day pictures with playdough. We also read lots of stories about how to take care of the Earth by reducing, reusing, and recycling.
