As another fun way to celebrate March is Reading month and our love of reading, ALL students at Glengary Elementary were able to take a field trip to visit the Commerce Twp. Library. The junior kindergartners went the morning of March 16th. While we were there, one of the librarians talked to us about the library and read a book to us! Then, we were able to have a behind-the-scenes tour where we saw where the librarians work and were also able to meet LARS, the machine that sorts the books that are returned to the library. We ended our tour in the Children's Section where we were able to explore the different areas. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Billin (Eden's mom) and Mrs. Shiroda (Scarlett's mom) for being such wonderful chaperones for this field trip! A fun and memorable time was had by all!
